The best! Very close to Tallin world market but is cheaper and has a bigger selection of South East Asian food. Has several types of shrimp paste and noodles and spices and anything else you could every thing of. Amazing place. Looked like it was family owned.
Super helpful owner. Decent but limited selection but it's very well organized. They have a small vegan and vegetarian selection with verisoy and a few other brands. They have a solid selection of sauces, lots of dehydrated mushrooms and fungi, plenty of ramen, and much more. I don't eat much fish or meat in general but they definitely had a good selection of frozen fish, fish balls, etc. The fresh produce section was small but everything looked great. I'll be returning.
I just moved back to Albuquerque and my Vietnamese girlfriend came with me. We were looking for an authentic market to purchase a few things for proper Vietnamese cuisine and this place was on point. Highly recommend them if you need authentic ingredients. I will be back.
I honestly can't rate the store. It's been too long since I've gone in. I live down the street from it though: how lazy of me. Lol! Seriously though, the store is surviving in a harsh environment. We all need to support these local specialty stores. So if you cook Asian cuisine regularly shop there some times. Take a friends who doesn't and introduce them to the wonders of such stores. And this goes for any local specialty store...like that Indian spice store perhaps. So make recommendations that we can all be inspired from. See you around town soon!!
